Alex solidified himself in the Des Moines Ryder Cup Hall of Fame after becoming the first 2x and back-to-back MVP in history.
This year's MVP was a tight race, going to an overall +/- tiebreaker after both Alex and John Thomson from Team Bushbaum and Taylor Gilson from Team Tilson all going 5-0 for the weekend.
Alex will yet again house the cup until 2025, and it will continue to be visible on all Zoom calls.

After last year's 6-0 skunk by Team Bushbaum in Session I, Team Tilson didn't feel all that badly about the 4.5-2.5 start.
In what has been the theme for the past 3 years, Team Bushbaum continued dominance on hole 9, as a full 2 point swing went in there favor after winning the final hole in different matches.
Alternate Shot
Team Bushbaum 4 - Team Tilson 3
Team Bushbaum added another full point to their lead while taking the Alternate Shot session 4-3 with impressive wins from Haaland/S. Ross and Corpstein/A. Ross.
A highlight for Team Tilson was Gilson/Wolfe handing Boer/Decker their first ever loss in Ryder Cup history, as they entered that match 5-0-0 all-time.
Singles I
Team Bushbaum 7.5 - Team Tilson 6.5
With 14 available points, Team Tilson looked to cut into the lead, but Team Bushbaum snuck out of a 7.5-6.5 session victory to end the day with a 16-12 lead.
Team Bushbaum dominated the middle 8 matches, winning 6.5 out of the potential 8 points in those matches highlighted by a thrilling halve from Matt Bushbaum on hole 18 to tie John Sexton.
Shamble
Team Bushbaum 3.5 - Team Tilson 3.5
In the first ever Shamble session, Team Bushbaum ended strong to take a 4 point lead into the singles sessions.
Team Tilson started strong winning 3 of the first 4 matches, but Team Bushbaum ended strong with Johnson/A. Ross and Sosnowski/Corpstein getting wins to ensure Team Tilson did not win the session and cut into the deficit.
Singles II
Team Bushbaum 8 - Team Tilson 6
Team Bushbaum only needed 5 of 14 points in the final session to retain the cup at 24.5 points. Although there was a bit of red on the Golfify app to start the session, and Team Tilson got within a point, Matt Bushbaum's full point secured the cup for Team Bushbaum.
A highlight of this session, in the second Battle of the Wolfe's, Brett Decker slam dunked a birdie from 30 yards off the green to come back from 4 down to halve his match with Matt Wolfe.

For the second year in a row Team Bushbaum did not lose a session outright, winning 4 and halving the fifth. Their team had an impressive six players with 4+ points; Alex Ross, John Thomson, Lance Johnson, Sam Ross, Chris Bushbaum & Matt Bushbaum.
Team Bushbaum has officially taken the series lead, up 3 to 2 all-time!
