Team Bushbaum put a stop to any sort of comeback by increasing their lead to 15.5 to 8.5 to end day 1.
Led by upset victories by Sam Ross over, previously undefeated in singles, Tubaugh and Decker over Griffith they secured a 2 point session victory.

Team Tilson tried mounting a comeback, taking the first session, but Team Bushbaum ended strong with 4 straight winning pairings.
The Ross and Bushbaum brothers secured two points, along with powerhouse pairing of Decker/Boer and Conrad/Johson.
Although the cup wasn't officially secured afte the front 9, Team Bushbaum was on the doorstep of victory.

Team Tilson only needed 1.5 points to retain the cup and secured the victory with Johnson over Liske in match 5.
Although Team Tilson tried to make the score a bit better with impressive wins by Boom and Ford, Boer finished the cup with a win on hole 18 to secure the session in Team Bushbaum's favor.
